If you ask any dog owner, they will tell you that their pet is not just a pet but an integral part of the family. It, too, deserves a vacation so when the time comes to start planning, the number one task is finding a hotel which will accept all family members.
This might seem as an easy task when in fact it’s quite the opposite. It’s not just a yes or no question!
Is there an extra charge for my dog? Does it depend on his size or weight? Will I need to have his passport/vaccination card with me? Is there a safe, designated area for my dog to run around or to relieve himself? Can the dog sleep in my bed as he does at home? Do I need to bring my own covers/sheets? Do I need to pack his food & water bowls? What about his toys? Can I stay in any room type with my dog or do I need to book something specific?
