Location
The Mirage is located in a brilliant and central part of the Las Vegas Strip with convenient access to everything you could want to see and do during your stay. Guests have praised the convenient walking distance to shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues, making it a perfect area to stay in Las Vegas. The location is also safe and easy to get to with the entrance to the lobby and casino being easily accessible. Although not the best location on the Strip, still, it is a pretty good location to be in. The hotel's central location makes it ideal for visitors attending conferences or shows at nearby venues such as Caesar's. Overall, The Mirage is a beautiful property with well-kept grounds in the perfect location on the Strip, making it an incredible choice for your next stay in Las Vegas.
Rooms
The guest rooms at The Mirage are a mixed bag with some guests finding them old fashioned and basic while others were impressed with the spacious and comfortable room size. The cleanliness of the rooms was a common theme in the reviews with some guests complaining of dirty rooms while others praised them for being very clean. The decor and amenities were also noted with some guests finding the furnishings and amenities a bit dated while others enjoyed the modern conveniences. Views from the rooms were generally regarded as beautiful with many guests enjoying the views of the volcano and strip. Overall, while some guests were disappointed with their rooms, others found them comfortable, clean and spacious with decent value for money.
Beds
The Mirage may be known for its famous volcano, but it's the beds that really steal the show! Guests have raved about the comfortable beds with many calling them the best they've ever slept on. While some found the beds to be a tad too firm, most guests found them just right with plenty of space to stretch out. And with housekeeping making the beds daily, you're sure to have a great night's sleep every night of your stay. However, some guests were disappointed by the lack of coffee pots in their rooms, so make sure to bring your own if you need that morning caffeine fix. Overall, the beds at The Mirage are a highlight of any stay, offering comfort and support that you won't soon forget.
Cleanliness
Guests raved about the cleanliness of The Mirage, describing the property as clean and well-maintained overall. Many were impressed with how clean their rooms were with some even saying it was luxurious. However, others noted some areas with a general lack of cleanliness, such as dirty carpets and bathrooms that were not up to par. A few guests reported issues with housekeeping with some rooms not getting serviced for multiple days. Despite some isolated incidents of dirty items, most guests agreed that the property was nice and clean, making for a comfortable and safe stay.
Staff
The staff at The Mirage hotel are truly amazing! Guests have consistently praised them as being friendly, accommodating, efficient and helpful. Many even described the staff as excellent and wonderful. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk staff received special commendations for their superb service. The bell desk, concierge and housekeeping staff were also highlighted as being polite, friendly and attentive. However, some guests did report negative experiences, such as unhelpful staff when it came to late check-out requests or poor customer service at the reception desk. Pool
The Mirage hotel's pool area proves to be a highlight of the stay according to guests. While some reviewers reported the pool being closed for cleaning or due to winter season, others enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, which remains open all year round. The smaller pool proved to be a secluded getaway for some with a hot tub that was highly recommended. Guests also appreciated the unique and entertaining volcano show that takes place near the pool. However, some guests reported that the pool closed early or was not available due to wind conditions. Despite these minor setbacks, the overall consensus was that the pool was great and a must-visit during any stay at The Mirage.
Parking
Guests who plan to drive to 'The Mirage' can rest assured that there is always parking available, though some reviewers did note that the parking fees can add up and make the stay more expensive. The mandatory valet fee and automated parking system were inconvenient for some, while others appreciated the option for free parking. Although some reviewers found the distance between their rooms, reception area and parking to be a hassle, others reported that the parking was okay overall. While some guests would prefer not to pay for parking on top of their resort fees, others noted that other hotels, such as the nearby Hard Rock, offer free parking.
4 Star
The Mirage is a very nice hotel with updates that have added to its appeal. Guests found it to be clean, comfortable and safe with many saying they would stay there again when visiting Las Vegas. While some saw it as an average hotel, others found it to be a great value overall. However, there were those who believed it was a bit pricey and no longer lived up to its supposed 4-star rating. It was described as decent but a little dated and not worth the money compared to other options. Nonetheless, those who appreciated its value for money enjoyed their stay for a short trip.
Casino
The Mirage's casino boasts a cool jungle theme and a professional atmosphere, making it a fun place to gamble for those interested. However, for non-gamblers or those sensitive to smoke, this may not be the ideal spot as the casino can be quite smoky and noisy. It's worth noting that guests have to walk through the casino in order to access their rooms and some reviewers noted the smell of cigarette smoke was too strong. Despite this, the hotel's lobby, atrium and exterior landscaping are all beautifully designed and there are plenty of expensive eateries to indulge in at The Mirage.
