What is the history of the property? Our landmark hotel was inaugurated on 7 May 1889 during the world exhibition in Paris. Built by architect Juste Lisch and initially named Hotel Terminus, the hotel was designed to accommodate transatlantic travellers arriving from Normandy via the Saint-Lazare station, designating it as one of the first "Grand Hotels"

The hotel is also surrounded by lovely architecture and its historic building adds to its charm. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a metro station just next to the hotel, which makes getting around Paris very easy. The location is perfect, right at the center of Paris and it is a great choice for those who want to be in the Opera area. Despite some guests mentioning that the food variety in the Lange area could be improved, the prime location of the hotel more than makes up for it. The staff at the Hilton Paris Opera are also excellent and the cleanliness of the hotel is highly rated. Overall, the hotel's excellent location and beautiful architecture make it a favorite among guests visiting Paris.
