Very Good
Location
The Westin Phoenix Downtown is a great choice for travelers attending conferences or events at the nearby convention center, as well as sports fans heading to the nearby stadium. The location is truly amazing, being situated in the heart of downtown Phoenix with plenty of food options, bars and entertainment within walking distance. The hotel is also conveniently located near the light rail, art district and CityScape. While there were some concerns about safety and the presence of homeless individuals in the area, overall the location was considered to be central and walkable to everything downtown. Keep in mind that some guests felt there wasn't much to do at night without taking an Uber, but the proximity to great restaurants and bars more than makes up for this. Finally, note that parking is not available on site, but guests were able to find nearby spots.
Breakfast
Guests of The Westin Phoenix Downtown have praised the hotel's breakfast offerings with many noting the quality of the food and the excellent service provided by the wait staff. Several guests ordered a room with breakfast included and were pleased with both the selection and taste of the meals. The Blueberry pancakes were particularly highlighted as delicious. Front desk staff were also praised for their attentiveness. Some guests noted that breakfast was included in their booking, while others mentioned that no complimentary breakfast was available. Despite this, the overall sentiment was that the breakfast was good and enjoyable. The only criticism was regarding the condensed hours of availability and the early closing time of the restaurant. Overall, guests were satisfied with the breakfast at The Westin Phoenix Downtown.
Dinner
Guests who have experienced the dinner at The Westin Phoenix Downtown have mixed opinions. Some wished there were more food choices and a larger menu, while others found the selection to be limited. However, most travelers agreed that the food was very good despite the few options. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open for some guests and room service was not available yet. For those who did have dinner, some mentioned that their reserved dinner time was honored while others complained about the wait time for food service. Some guests found the size of the restaurant and ambiance to be disappointing, which affected their overall experience. While the meal itself was not the greatest according to some reviewers, others seemed to enjoy their food and left satisfied.
Rooms
If you're looking for a comfortable and spacious room with an amazing view, then The Westin Phoenix Downtown might just be the hotel for you. Reviews rave about the cleanliness and quality of the rooms with many guests describing them as big, beautiful and even gigantic. Upgrades to penthouse suites are also mentioned with room service and staff receiving high marks for their professionalism and friendliness. The bathrooms are noted for being squeaky clean and even having views of the city. Some guests mention issues with things like dust settling on furniture, thin walls, or rain shower heads, but overall the rooms are praised for being clean, spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel is also mentioned in conjunction with the quality of the rooms with many noting that the views from higher floors are spectacular. A few guests had issues with parking, but the amenities and style of the rooms received overwhelmingly positive feedback.

They were impressed with how well the facilities were taken care of and how comfortable and beautiful the rooms are. Staff were consistently praised for their courteousness with guests saying that they found the hotel overall to be very clean. Overall, The Westin Phoenix Downtown was praised for its wonderful service and friendly, courteous staff.
Pool
The Westin Phoenix Downtown boasts a nice rooftop pool and sun deck that guests can take a dip in to cool off from the heat. While some reviews mentioned the pool being small, others raved about it, describing it as great and efficient. The pool is also heated, perfect for those chilly desert evenings. Guests who stayed in the massive room loved the view of the pool from the top floor. Unfortunately, some reviews mentioned the pool being closed during their stay, but overall, the pool was a welcomed amenity.
Parking
Overall, parking at The Westin Phoenix Downtown seems to be a mixed bag with some guests expressing frustration at the high fees for valet parking or the lack of affordable on-site parking. However, others found the valet worth the cost for peace of mind and noted that there is public parking available around the hotel. Some guests had to park in a garage across the street for around $18, while others had to meter park or pay an additional fee for parking. The valet parking area is small and understaffed, causing some cars to stick out into traffic lanes. However, there were also positive mentions of communication by staff regarding parking facilities and self-park options within 1.5 blocks of the hotel for around $28. It's worth noting that there were a few reviews in Spanish with one guest expressing disappointment at the lack of free parking available.
4 Star

Some were hesitant to rate it as a four-star hotel, but most guests seem to agree that the experience is worth the price. For anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Phoenix, The Westin is definitely worth considering.
Luxury
The Westin Phoenix Downtown is a beautiful and luxurious hotel that will exceed your expectations. The decorum is well executed and every aspect of the property is beautiful. During my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I had a fantastic experience. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to the penthouse suite which was amazing and the room service was on point. I cannot express how much I loved everything about the property. The room was clean, modern and had everything that I needed. It was honestly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. However, it's worth noting that this hotel is not your average 4-star property. It definitely exceeds that level with ease. If you're looking for a truly luxurious experience, The Westin Phoenix Downtown is the perfect choice. Don't let the price tag deter you - this is not an average Holiday Inn Express.
