Antico Casale Di Scansano is housed in a restored Maremma farmhouse that dates back to the 19th century. Before becoming the 4-star hotel that it is today, the building was used as a drying house for chestnuts, as they are produced in this area and are one of the local delicacies Scansano is proud of.
