Guests love the hotel's convenient location which is close to downtown and many great towns and vineyards. The interior courtyard view and beautiful landscape add to the romantic atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for couples. The cleanliness of the hotel is also highly praised. The setting is truly fabulous and guests can enjoy the beautiful grounds, including the backsode of the pool and the many fire places. Although some guests do not feel it is quite up to 5-star standards, the location is still great and convenient to everything, including the bar and pool area. Overall, guests love the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa for its beautiful setting and prime location in wine country.

Breakfast

The spa at Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa is simply amazing! Guests rave about the wonderful facilities and great customer service. With options available for spa treatments, as well as lounging by the beautiful pool and immersing in geothermal heated pools, guests are truly spoiled for choice. A simple opportunity to sit and relax the entire day is what many visitors crave and the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa delivers. The separate spa pools without children make it a great place to unwind. Guests can bring their furry friends along, as the hotel is dog-friendly with amenities provided. The Covid restrictions did limit the spa experience, but the staff was excellent with enforcing mask wearing and limited the people in the pool area. While the resort fee does not include the use of the spa pools, the daily access of $50 is worth it. With the exception of a few negative reviews, the spa facilities are rejuvenating and truly special. We just can't wait until they reopen the spa with all its amazing features.

Some guests mentioned enjoying outside seating near the pool and even an open-air dinner overlooking the pool and fire pit. Those looking for a more mineral-rich experience should check out the spectacular hot spring pool. Due to COVID, some amenities were limited, but overall the pool area is still nice and worth a visit. Just be sure to clarify any pool access restrictions before booking your stay.
